About a year and a half ago,my father in law was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and the local doctors had no hope. They told us to prepare for the worse. We took him to another doctor in a bigger city, and hope came back. They initially told us they didn't think they would be able to remove the rumor at all. Look back to before his diagnosis and you would see an entire family lost in this world. Not fully trusting in the Lord, and not knowing Christ as our savior. We were all "lukewarm Christians" "fans instead of followers". Fast forward a year, to where we are now. My father in law did have that surgery, and three months later they told him he has NO new cancers. This 71 year old man went from a point where he wanted to give up, throw in the towel, to having a restored hope. My 13 year old son bonded so tight with him, he helped take care of him during the rough time, and to this day they are inseparable. Through this storm, God drew us in to HIM. We are all closer to him and are fully devoting our lives to him. There is truly hope through Him.
